Today's Big Book AA Meetings
District 11 Meetings
Most meetings are one hour unless otherwise noted. Almost all meetings are non-smoking. Meetings are "open" or "closed". * *Many "closed" meetings change their format to "open" speaker meeting once a month to celebrate sobriety milestones.
What's the difference between Open and Closed AA Meetings?
Open meetings are available to anyone interested in Alcoholics Anonymous’ program of recovery from alcoholism. Nonalcoholics may attend open meetings as observers.
Closed meetings are for A.A. members only, or for those who have a drinking problem and “have a desire to stop drinking.”
